Dear stranger,

It’s been long since I have actually taken myself seriously in front of a paper and pen. And all that cheekiest conversations that  I never had with you and the letters never send are impeccably valid now. I know that I am a stranger but regard me as loyal a friend, and you will feel me loyal.

I am merely introducing 4 letters ASaP (Action Space Process) and then I am going to disappear asap.

Action

School is never a place where they spoon feed you knowledge. The stage is always yours and they, mere audience. They guide you not to acquire but how to acquire knowledge. I understand that you believe school either kills or creates art. But let me tell you school does neither. It is a place were you recognize your defects, merits and demerits so that you start working to improve yourself. Spineless are those who feel discouraged and depressed by the failures.

Nature does not give a man virtue, the process of becoming a good man is an art.

The general misconception is that life shares you with immense knowledge and enlightenment and you can sit on a beach looking at the sky pondering on the never ending mysteries of stargaze. The fact is that they neither share wisdom nor show any doors or doorways. They merely show how to find the doors that might lead to something of your interest. It is the quest of interest to yourself and to your life that would steer into something. The best education is something that gives you discomfit which pushes you in search of you and your art. Even the system knows you don’t fit there but unless and until you take the action nothing moves the wheel. Having said of action I have come across another idea- wisdom and virtue.

Space

Time and space are the nutrients of wisdom. Wisdom is not just knowledge, it is experience, failure, mistakes, discomfit and lastly success. You evolve, fantasize, hope, criticize, shed emotions , cry, smile; such capricious life makes art so does a good soul.

Uncertainty of future makes present fine.

Process

Your experiences always belongs to you. Enjoy the process and not the end goal. The ultimate aim is to live devoid of necessity. It is to conquer the realm of necessity which redeems you from all those materialistic earthly distractions. What matters is not your capability to live without the material, but your capability to live unaltered and unaffected when you lose those that matters. The cultivation of such mentality is the core of stoic philosophy. You can live with luxury or without it, the latter is not because you hate luxe life rather a non-neccesity for you (refer tanha or तृष्णा).

Until we have begun to go without them, we fail to realize how unnecessary many things are. We’ve been using them not because we needed them but because we had them

SENECA

Letters from a stoic

It is therefore highly recommended that you read Letters from a Stoic by Seneca. The book Letters from a Stoic by Seneca teaches self-control and fortitude. If you really want to escape the things that harass you, what you’re needing is not to be in a different place but to be a different person. Be a different person. Find and meet me as a stranger.

Let me hurl this letter into the windy strange road and let that wind reach you.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Yours Sincerely
